A GANG of seven teenage thugs wearing knuckle-dusters beat and robbed a man in Walthamstow on Sunday (6).
The man, 45, was walking along Lloyd Road when the gang confronted him and began punching him in the face, arms and back.
One of the assailants grabbed his leg, causing him to fall to the ground.
The thugs then kicked him as he lay on the floor, before going through his pockets and taking a wallet and mobile phone.
The robbers then ran away in different directions.
The man was taken to hospital and treated for a swollen face and bruising to his body.
The robbers are all described as black, about 16 years old and wearing dark clothing, hooded tops and balaclavas.
