The Guardian Food Awards give you the chance to say thank you to your favourite restaurant.
You have until the end of the month to cast your vote in the competition, which recognises the best places to eat out in Waltham Forest, Epping Forest and Redbridge.
There are ten categories, to ensure that no-one misses out, and awards will be presented for the best:
- International restaurant
- Public house
- Oriental restaurant
- Fish and chip shop
- Takeaway
- Pie and Mash shop
- Coffee shops & cafes
- European restaurant
- Indian restaurant
- Butchers

And everyone who casts a vote will be entered into a special prize draw, with one lucky diner winning a slap up dinner-for-two at any of the winning restaurants.
There is no shortage of excellent eateries in our area, and many reasons why they are so good.
In some it is the quality or range of the food, in others it is the friendliness of the staff.
Some may offer value for money or a great ambience, or a fantastic level of service.
Whatever it is, why not share the good news about your favourite place and allow them a taste of success?
The winning restaurant in each category will be presented with a certificate, and the overall winner will receive a write-up in the paper, so that everyone will know just why it is the place to be.
