Two companies have been announced as sponsors of a hospice's 10th anniversary charity events.

Chigwell Construction of Hainault and Dilshan Transport Group Ltd of Chadwell Heath will cover the costs of fundraising in aid of Haven House Children's Hospice in High Road, Woodford Green.

The events include a celebrity football match on May 12 and a 10th Birthday Ball on October 17.

Dean Floyd, owner of Chigwell Construction, said: "I am delighted to be a headline sponsor for what promises to be a great event and delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile local cause in its 10th birthday year."

John Singh of Dilshan Transport, added: "This is a fantastic opportunity to be a main sponsor, supporting Haven House during this 10th Birthday milestone.

"I am very much looking forward to the celebrity football match, which will be a unique  fundraising event, for one of my favourite local charities."

Celebrities confirmed for the football match include TOWIE stars James Argent and Tom Kilbey and actors Gary Lucy and Danny Dyer.

They will be playing against  a team of Tottenham Hotspur legends, including  Mark Falco and Darren Anderton.

Mike Palfreman, chief executive of the hospice added: "2013 looks like being a packed year for our events and we’re so pleased to have the support of our local business community to help make them possible."
