Athletic stars including Usain Bolt entertained the crowds at the Olympic Stadium yesterday in an event held to mark the first anniversary of the 2012 Games.
The Jamaican sprinter won the 100m race with a time of 9.85 seconds during a day of celebrations at the Stratford site one year on from the spectacular opening ceremony of the London Olympics.
The Anniversary Games conclude today with appearances expected from British medal winners Jessica Ennis-Hill and Mo Farah.
Then on Sunday the Olympic Stadium will host some of the stars of the Paralympic Games for a similar event.
