A section of the Victoria line will be closed for almost a month later this year.
There will be no service between Walthamstow Central and Seven Sisters due to engineering work.
Rail replacement buses will be offered between August 8 and 30.
The work is being carried out to increase the number of Tubes serving the area.
According to Transport for London, Victoria line passengers already get one of the highest frequency train services in the UK, with 34 trains per hour at busiest times.
However, it is hoped this can be raised to 36 trains per hour in 2016 to meet increasing demand.
The work will take place inside the tunnel, although the car park will be used for the delivery of materials.
The Victoria line ventilation shaft located on Pretoria Avenue will also be upgraded.
