A Chingford man is among eight people arrested after a brawl in a small Hertfordshire village.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the fight in High Wych, located north of Harlow, on January 2.
Officers were called to High Wych Lane at 2.42pm to reports that a man had been chased down the road and a car had followed him.
A short distance away a fight involving a group of around eight people took place.
A 31-year-old man from Chingford was among eight arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and has been bailed until February 13.
During the incident one man in his 20s is believed to have been injured after being hit by a car.
A second man, who is also in his 20s, was also injured.
Both were taken to hospital and the second man has since been released.
It believed those involved in the incident are known to each other.
Detective Sergeant Lee Waller, of Hertfordshire Police, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the altercation and would ask that you contact me.
“I also need to hear from anyone who witnessed the events leading up to what happened or anyone who has any information about what lead to the incident.”
