MOM Eva broke the deadlock with a rasping shot. Several further chances came before the break but a strong and well marshalled UPR backline could not be broken.

In the second half and the lively Brislen-Hall and Eva went close. Powerful and tenacious play from Baffour and Houssein helped to prevent the home side from finding a way through. A moment of magic from Brislen-Hall made the result safe.

WOODFORD started brightly and went close on a couple of occasions. Midway through the first half, Guymer slotted a clever through ball for Hinds to score.

The Foxes doubled their advantage when Langsworthy sent over a low cross and Hinds grabbed his second.

Into the second half with subs Reid and Ryan kept it tight at the back. However, the plucky Westward Boys pulled a goal back following a rare defensive mix up. Woodford's MoM: Williams.

AN unstoppable free kick opened the scoring for the home side. Woodford had a great chance to level through Hunt, but his shot hit the bar. UPR brought the score to 2.-0 just before the break. Woodford created a number of decent chances but were caught on the counter attack. Foxes MoM: Richardson.

KERRISON passed to Taylor who scored on ten minutes.

Lawler doubled the score for the visitors but Hoye was called upon to make a fantastic save from a Bealonians looping shot.

The second half saw further goals from Lawler, Ali and a fifth from Hoye. MoM: Purcel.

THE home side took the lead via a penalty.

Woodford turned on the pressure while Mullings and Meakin contained the Cobra frontmen.

Beswick went close with a volley. The Foxes came out in the second half and controlled the game well, man of the match Hepworth's intelligent play released Snell and Paul several times.

The equaliser came from great link up play between Arbenser Simmons and Snell, who found the net. Great controlling skill from Paul saw him beat his marker and fire home the winner.

WOODFORD keeper Orme pulled off a couple of terrific saves. Man of the match McGilloway scored the only goal of the game through a looping shot.

An exciting second half saw Kagona go closest to scoring with a shot against the crossbar. Woodford's Applewhaite was composed in defence.

WOODFORD opened the scoring when Ali calmly tapped home.

Romford quickly equalised and this proved to be a wake up call for Woodford. Adasonla's pace caused the hosts' problems and he doubled the lead.

Woodford were rewarded with a third through Caston. Adasonla hit the fourth and with minutes to go Shatford curled into the top corner for the fifth. Foxes MoM: Hamilton.

ONLY two smart saves from Lewis prevented Buckhurst Hill from falling behind to a quicker and more determined Harold Hill.

But following great work from Buckhurst Hill's Lawrence, Osmond, skipped past two defenders and slid the ball past the keeper.

In the second half Harold Hill, found themselves clear on goal three times. Lewis saved twice and the hosts scored once.

With ten minutes left, a wonderful piece of skill from Pike, saw him score. Minutes later some strong tackling from Hepburn set up Fuller who calmly slotted the third.

AFTER finishing last season unbeaten in their division and winning the league title, Ridgeway carried on the winning ways with victory in the first of six matches this season.

In the first of two matches Ridgeway started well with last season's top scorer Taylor pouncing to slot home.

Against the run of play Norsemen equalised, but Ridgeway restored the lead when Taylor headed home his second from a corner.

The second half saw more of the same from Ridgeway and from Hollingsworth's free-kick Clayton tapped in to make it 3-1.

Then Taylor provided a cross for Drew to score his first of the game. Norsemen then scored their second before Hollingsworth curled in a superb free-kick.

Towards the end Norsemen pinched another goal to end this match 5-3.

The second match saw Ridgeway dominate and Philips' solo effort gave them the lead.

The second half saw Frost introduced and he immediately opened his account before adding a second at the far post to put the game beyond doubt. Norsemen scored a consolation effort later on.

FOREST'S great team performance was rounded off with goals from Pate (three), Colgan (two), Deacon and Cockerill. Millwall had their moments in the game but were inconsistent.

HILL, with four new players, took time to settle before Grenfell smashed in an free-kick. With Bradley and Vincent strong at the back the hosts started to take control.

An excellent through ball from Grenfell put in Ajibade who doubled their lead. The second half saw Hill's Lawrence cross for Williams who forced the ball home.

The hosts maintained the pressure and a UPR player turned the ball into his own net. MoM: Grenfell.

EPPING went into the lead when Burrell scored after good play from Friend. They were soon three up when Green scored a brace. Brittaine added a fourth before half time.

Epping continued to dominate in the second half and Burrell scored his second. Harlow got a consolation goal before Flanagan smashed in Epping's sixth.

SENRAB gave away two weak first-half goals.

The second half was much better for Senrab yet Tigers scored a third.

Jesse Anderson then scored a consolation for Senrab.

TEN-man Interwood were on the end of a great display by Buckhurst Hill.

Hill dominated from start to finish and new signing Cauley Woodrow scored eight goals.

Young, Parman, Golding and Woolward each chipped in with a goal. MoM: Woodrow.

A DEFENSIVE slip-up allowed Adelaide to go one up.

Hill then came more into the game with the midfield breaking up the play and Stone in goal always looking assured.

Hill were soon on level terms when Ambrose chipped the keeper after a great pass by Bishop.

The second half saw Hill take the lead from Bishop's shot, fed from an Alexandrou pass. Later Chappel passed for Ambrose to put Hill 3-1 up. A goal a minute from time gave some anxious moments for Hill but they held on.

The visitors' Myer Chuckwu-Onu scored three while Jake Mernagh, Jesse Green-Wilson, Sean Clare and Kailum Jan Baptiste all scored one.

THE match started at a fast pace with the Hammers taking the lead within minutes through Leanne Stubbings.

Havering drew level from a well-taken free-kick. Maddie Thomas' shot was parried out to Kimmilee Day to tap home for the hosts.

The visitors pressed on but couldn't find a way past Chloe Coombs. A cross from Stubbings, found Kimmilee Day who made the score 3-1. The fourth goal came when Stephanie Coe volleyed into the net.

The flood gates were now open and in the second half Claire Capon, Stubbings, Emma Sherwood all got on the scoresheet. Kimilee Day completed her hat-trick before adding a fourth and Emma Sherwood slotted home the final goal of the day.

THE first half was a tight affair with the Daggers defence keeping Town's chances at a minimum thanks to the visitors' impressive Greenway.

However some good Brentwood play resulted in them taking the lead before half time. The Redbridge players, many of whom were making their debuts, increased their efforts at the start of the second half and took the game to Brentwood. Oshodi, Peattie, Rosborough caused problems but the hosts stood firm and buried the match towards the end with two quick-fire goals.

(U10s Rural Friendly Qualifying Preliminary Match)

AN excellent all round performance from both squads saw West Essex Colts achieve a convincing victory in the first of their Preliminary fixtures. The Blue squad kicked off first and found themselves evenly matched in the opening half by a resolute Boundary Park.

The breakthrough came shortly, great work by Rowley led to a blocked shot which Prevost quickly pounced on to slot home.

Soon after, some nice inter-passing between Bean, J Greaves and Griffiths led to the latter scoring his first of the season.

Minutes later, Bean on the left pointed a terrific cross and J Greaves lashed home. Bean then sent a great shot beyond the reach of the keeper.

First match ended 4-0 to the hosts. In the second game Heslop was on hand to pounce on a loose ball.

A second goal followed soon after when Bobani, got on to the end of a corner. A run by Evans gave S White a scoring chance which he coolly converted.

Minutes later Bobani broke clear to rifle the ball home from the edge of the area for his second which left the Colts with a 4-0 lead at half time.

Boundary Park's persistence earned them an early second half penalty which was saved by Morrison in goal.

A quick-fire hat-trick from Flood saw the hosts increase their lead further, before the visitors grabbed a late consolation.
