FILM star Danny Dyer is the latest victim of car thieves operating in the so-called Golden Triangle.
The hardman actor, who lives in Loughton, had both his Porsche and Mercedes cars stolen from his driveway yesterday (November 3.
He told the Sun, waking up and finding them gone was “the lowest point of my life” although the Porsche was later found abandoned nearby.
Essex Police recently launched a special operation to catch car thieves who have been targetting affluent homes in the Golden Triangle of Chigwell, Buckhurst Hill, and Loughton.
Premiership footballers are a particularly favourite target of the criminals with Chigwell-based West Ham captain Lucas Neill among their victims.
Epping has also not been immune from the thefts and two high-value range rovers taken from homes in the town were recently seized by police in Suffolk as they were about to be smuggled out of the country.
