A MOTORCYCLIST was thrown from his bike when he was hit by a car in Leyton.
The crash happened outside the PDSA shop in the High Road just after 12pm today (Wednesday February 16).
He was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
The crash happened in front of worried shoppers close to Leyton Tesco.
Police attended the scene but a spokeswoman said no offence had been committed.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: "We were called just after 12.05pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Leyton High Road involving a car and a bike.
"The patient was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital."
