TWO arrests were made yesterday following the death of a woman in a hit and run.
A woman in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
A dark blue Mercedes C200 Kompressor, believed to be the vehicle involved in the crash, was also traced after the fatal incident at 10pm on June 1, at the junction of Markhouse Avenue and Markhouse Road in Walthamstow.
A Vietnamese woman in her 20s died in the Royal London Hospital on June 2.
Her next of kin have been informed but she is yet to be formally identified.
