TWO Waltham Forest men have appeared at the Old Bailey charged with inciting terrorism.
Abu Izzadeen, 32, of Brierley Road, Leytonstone, and Abdullah Hassan, 21, from Leyton, were remanded in custody with five other men following the pre-trial hearing on Friday.
The two are also charged with raising funds for terrorism. Mr Hassan is facing a further charge of possessing an article for terrorism.
Mr Izzadeen, who barracked then Home Secretary Dr John Reid during a visit to the borough last year, was charged under the name Omar Brooks.
The offences relate to speeches made at London's Regents Park mosque in 2004.
The men will appear at a plea and case management hearing on September 21.
Two men charged with inciting terrorism were released on conditional bail.
