East London Runners had 22 competing at the London Marathon on Sunday with four finishing in the top 500.
Thomas Grimes led the way for the club, crossing the line in 204th with a personal best time of 2.40.57.
Ciaran Canavan was not far behind in 269th with a time of 2.43.20, which was also a personal best.
Manjit Bedi stopped the clock in 2.48.20, another personal best and good enough for 453rd, while Patrick Brown came 491st with a personal best of 2.48.59.
There were also personal bests for the next four finishers from the club – Danny Lee (2.53.14), James Wilson (3.08.37), Andrew Baxter (3.10.03) and Ava Lee (3.13.25).
Mark Boulton (3.19.05) and Allan Todd (3.22.23) both made the top 5,000 of the race, with Todd completing his debut London Marathon, while Richard Guest recorded a personal best time of 3.37.07.
Michael Wilson finished in 3.42.11 and ten minutes back was Robert Heppell (3.46.07).
There was also a personal best time for Richard Potter, who recorded 3.56.33, while Lucy Leddy crossed the line in 3.58.26 on her debut.
Jamie Xavier (4.06.25), Tom Woods (4.10.03) and Dave Knight (4.12.23) were comfortably below the five-hour mark, while Sheila Kennedy’s 4.14.33 was a personal best time and Tom Edworthy registered 4.49.41 on his first London Marathon outing.
Harsh Pershad recorded a personal best time of 5.29.58 and Jim Bird completed the Runners contingent with a time of 7.46.41.
Further afield, Roberto Bruni completed the Galapagos Marathon in 4.41.00 last Tuesday, while Trish Kelly finished the same event in seven hours flat.
