Leyton Orient maintained their unbeaten pre-season record but were denied victory by a second-half equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Tamworth.
Russell Slade named an experienced line-up for the contest and the O's were ahead within six minutes as Nathan Clarke's long throw ended up at the feet of Moses Odubajo, who calmly slotted home from just inside the area.
Tamworth had chances to level soon after before a flowing Orient move saw Romain Vincelot find Gary Sawyer who fizzed a cross in for Kevin Lisbie, but the striker's header found the goalkeeper.
Lloyd James impressed in the middle on his return to the side while new signing Shaun Batt looked lively up front and was unlucky not to find the net on a couple of occasions.
The second period saw the tempo of the match drop, with both teams wilting in hot conditions.
Tamworth took advantage as Jake Jones' shot crashed against the post and the rebound fell kindly for Louis Harris to tap in and secure a draw.
