Leyton Orient have completed the signing of experienced Italian striker Gianvito Plasmati.
The O's have agreed a deal for the 31-year-old until the end of the season with the possibility of extending his contract by another year.
Plasmati was at Brisbane Road this afternoon for the 0-0 draw with MK Dons along with Serse Cosmi who was last week installed as the odds on favourite for the Orient job.
The striker, who is nicknamed 'the beast', should provide a physical threat and stands at 6ft 6in tall. He left Siena this summer after the club were declared bankrupt.
Plasmati has spent his career in the lower leagues of Italian football including spells at clubs such as Catania and Atlanta.
It is understood Plasmati is short of match fitness so is unlikely to make his debut for the club for a couple of weeks.
