ARSENE Wenger could get a double boost after a summer of unrest at the Emirates, writes Craig Rodhouse.
Wenger has seen star Gilberto Silva, Mathieu Flamini and Alexander Hleb all leave Arsenal this summer and with Emmanuel Adebayor reportedly seeking a move away from the north Londoners, Eduardo still recovering from his horrific broken leg and Kolo Toure catching Malaria whilst on holiday in the Ivory Coast, the future hasn't looked bright for Wenger.
However, it is now believed that Adebayor is going to end all speculation about a move to Barcelona, by signing a new four year deal with the Gunners worth £75,000 a week.
And Wenger also received further positive news about Toure during the week. The defender underwent a number of tests in hospital and it was revealed that Toure had only contracted a mild strain of the disease and could be back playing for the Gunners this week.
And the inspirational centre half is almost certainly going to be available for Arsenal's first game of the new Premier League season against West Brom.
