Former Orient skipper Matthew Spring has signed a two-year deal with Wycombe Wanderers.
The 32-year-old was among a trio of players – alongside Dean Leacock and Syam Ben Youssef – not initially offered new deals with the O’s but also not released by the club.
However, Spring was offered a deal with the Chairboys and joins Gary Waddock’s side in their quest for an immediate return to League One following their relegation at the end of last term.
Spring will be familiar with his new employers having netted against them in Orient’s 4-2 defeat at Adams Park in March.
In his final campaign with the E10 side, the former Charlton Athletic and Watford man turned out more times than anyone else for the club.
