Spurs could be set to battle Liverpool for the services of Shinji Kagawa.
The Japanese playmaker helped Borussia Dortmund to the Bundesliga title last season and is thought to have been watched by the English duo.
Kagawa has been a near ever present for the Germans this season and Spurs could lead the chase for the star as they head the Reds in the race for Champions League football next season.
