ROBBIE Keane’s move to West Ham is on the brink of collapse under the weight of assorted cash demands by Spurs, say reports.
Cash-strapped Hammers have baulked at a pile of clauses that could send surging the cost of the Ireland hitman to nearly £20m over three and half years.
These include paying Spurs a £1m bonus if relegation from the Premier League is avoided this season.
Also on the list is a commitment to pay £6m for the option to sign Keane on a three year deal.
West Ham would also have to pay all of Keane’s £65,000 a week wages for the duration of a six-month loan spell.
Officials at Upton Park are stunned by the demands for the 30-year-old, according to the Telegraph.
