A new theatre project will explore what life was like in Redbridge during World War II.
The Hope and Glory Community Project aims to run weekly workshops on a Monday at Redbridge Drama Centre before devising a show to be performed at the same venue at the end of April 2020.
The organisers are appealing for people to share their stories of what life was like in Redbridge during World War II, as well as adults who would like to be involved. Volunteers will research the archives at Redbridge Museum & Heritage Centre and create a drama performance about local experiences. No previous acting experience is required.
The project is being supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Redbridge Museum.
