KING, Stanley Horace 92, died on Tuesday 1st April at Watford General Hospital. Stan was born 12th July 1921 in Clapton London E5. Stan and his wife Joan lived in Crows Road, then Chapel Road, spanning from 1954 until just 5 months ago when they moved to Abbots Langley to be near their son Jeff and family. Stan was involved with his wife in the scouts, the horticultural society, U3A locally in Epping and the Society of Ornamental Turners (SOT) in London. Stan enjoyed spending time in his workshop turning amazing shapes and bowls as well as modelling in metal and steel. He loved children and was known and loved by them as 'Pampa'. He is survived by his wife Joan, sons Chris, Jeff and their wives, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His funeral service will take place on 15th April at St Lawrence Church, Abbots Langley, Herts WD5 0AS at 2pm. Friends can call M K Ginder and Sons 01923 468253 for more details
