SMITH, Irene Aged 94. Passed away peacefully to be in the presence of her Lord on 10th October. Her daughter, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren are thankful for her long life and will miss her greatly. Irene and her late husband George were Mayor and Mayoress of Chingford in 1959. There will be a thanks-giving service at Buckhurst Hill Baptist Church on 28th November at 4pm.
