POLICE have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a house last night.
Officers were called to Higham Hill Road in Walthamstow at 11.15pm Monday (October 22) following reports of gunfire.
On arrival they found two shots had been fired at a downstairs window, with another bullet hitting an upstairs window of the same property.
The rounds reportedly only penetrated one pane of the double glazed windows.
No-one was injured and no arrests have been made.
A Met spokesman said: "The motive for the attack remains unclear and enquiries continue.
"Officers from Trident Gang Command are now leading this investigation."
Higham Hill Road was closed off by police for much of the night while detectives investigated.
