Police search a property near the junction of Ropers Avenue and Larkshall Road in Chingford
A 31-YEAR-OLD was stabbed in the early hours of this morning.
The man was discovered collapsed suffering from a number of stab wounds in Woodend Road, Walthamstow, after the ambulance service alerted police at 12.20am.
It is believed the man had been attacked earlier at a property near the junction of Ropers Avenue and Larkshall Road in Chingford.
The house remained cordoned off by police this morning and the surrounding road closed.
The victim, who is thought to have known the attacker, is described as being in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
No arrests have been made.
