A MAN has been charged over a stabbing earlier this week.
Karl Thompson, 42, is accused of knifing a 31-year-old at a house in Larkshall Road, near the junction with Ropers Avenue in Highams Park, on Tuesday night (October 23).
The wounded man is believed to have travelled to Woodend Road in Walthamstow after being stabbed where he was found by police at around 12.20am (Wednesday).
The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but he has now been discharged and is expected to recover.
Mr Thompson, of Larkshall Road, is charged with Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) with intent and is due to appear at Stratford Magistrates' Court today (Friday October 26).
