A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death in his house last night.
It happened in Queens Road, Walthamstow, just before 9.30pm on Sunday (October 28).
The man was knifed in the throat and died at the scene.
Two other people were also stabbed.
A 25-year-old woman was wounded in the torso but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
But she remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The third person injured was a 39-year-old man.
He has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in a stable condition in hospital.
A Met spokesman said: "Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating."
The killed man has not been named and a post mortem is yet to be arranged.
The Guardian understands that all three people lived in the house.
