A 60-year-old woman was taken to hospital this morning after being hit by a car while crossing the road.
London Ambulance were called at 8.45am to the junction of Woodbine Place and High Street in Wanstead and treated a woman for minor injuries.
She was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital after suffering bruising to her ribs.
No arrests were made and the police are not investigating the incident.
