BLACK history and culture was celebrated at centre for adults with learning disabilities.
Visitors to the Woodbine Centre in Woodbine Place, Wanstead, tried their hand at African drumming and tasted West Indian and African food.
They also had the chance to dress in traditional clothing from around the world on Wednesday.
Manager of the centre, David Rockcliffe, said: "To me the day felt like choas, but feedback from my team said they had a really good day."
Black history was celebrated throughout the month of October.
