LIGHT-footed dance partners have come top in an international competition.
Ballroom dancers Linda Collier, 52, of Loughton, won the International Over 50s Championships held at the Brentwood Leisure Centre with her partner Ian Saville.
“We were absolutely thrilled,” she said. “It is the highest point of our partnership so far.”
Mr Saville, 53, of Roundmead Close, added: “You have to be very committed to dance at a high level and we dance every day.
“It’s a great way of keeping fit and very sociable.”
The pair practice at a gym off Abridge Road, Chigwell, and help with dance classes at the Metropolitan Police Club on Mondays and Wednesdays.
