A MAN has been charged with the fatal stabbing of his father-in-law.
Mohammed Ali, 39, is accused of murdering Abed Polin, 46, in his home in Queens Road, Walthamstow, on Sunday evening (October 28).
Mr Ali is also charged with the attempted murder of Mr Polin's son Nasser, 20, and his own wife Nameerah Polin, 25.
He is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Friday November 2.
Mr Ali and all his alleged victims lived in the same house.
Media in Mauritius said Mr Polin was a father-of-five who worked as a driver.
He reportedly moved from Mauritius to the UK with his family in 2003.
Mr Polin died at the scene after being stabbed in the throat.
Nameerah Polin was stabbed in the torso during the incident but has since been discharged from hospital.
