DOG owners are invited to enter their canine companions into a fundraising show.
The event will take place on Thornwood village hall playing fields on Sunday December 2 to raise funds for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and German Shepherd Rescue West Essex.
Four-legged entrants will be able to take part in 21 classes, including best fancy dress, handsomest dog, best rescue, scruffiest dog and the dog the judge would like to take home.
The day will also include a sponsored ten-minute stay, judged by North Weald Bassett Parish Council chairman Cllr Cyril Hawkins.
Epping Forest District Council's animal warden Lyn Cook, who is organising the show, said: "I hope that as many dog owners as possible will come along and have a fun day whilst raising money for two very worthwhile causes."
Entry is £1 per class and the show will be held in the village hall if weather is inclement. The show starts at 10.30am with judging from 11.30am.
For sponsor forms and schedules, call Lyn on 01992 564077 or email lcook@eppingforestdc.gov.uk.
