FUNDRAISERS are invited to dress as Santa and run 5km for a children's hospice.
The seasonal Santathon is taking place this year at the Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club in Dagenham on December 2.
Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House Children's Hospice in High Road, Woodford Green, said: "This is a really fun event and is sure to get people into the festive spirit. However, it’s also about raising vital funds to help support local life-limited children at this special time of year."
The race starts at 11am, but people should arrive earlier to register.
It costs £10 for adults, £5 children and under-5’s free and a £25 sponsorship is required.
The fee includes a Santa suit to run in and a medal for finishing the fun run.
