A THEATRE group will bring a traditional fairy tale to the stage next week - with a twist.
Members of Loughton Operatic Society are putting the finishing touches to their production of Mr Cinders, a 1920s-set version of the classic children's story.
The show will take place in Lopping Hall, in the High Road, from Wednesday November 14 until Saturday November 17.
Performances will begin nightly at 7.45pm, with an afternoon performance on Saturday at 2.30pm and tickets are £11 or £8 for the matinee.
Society committee member Lesley Lewis said: "This show is a light hearted musical comedy and is based loosely on the story of Cinderella - with a twist - and is full of the energy, wit and fun of the roaring twenties."
- Tickets can be purchased from the box office 01992 575 502 or online at www.los.ticketsource.co.uk. For more information about the group, visit its website.
