A GANG of armed robbers who held up a supermarket have been jailed.
The foursome, which includes Walthamstow man Ahmed Sufi, 23, pleaded guilty after a Co-operative store in Ealing was targeted back in February.
Isleworth Crown Court heard that two of the men burst into the supermarket and threatened staff with a silver revolver handgun.
The duo then made off after terrified workers handed over cash from the tills.
But barely half an hour later police stopped a car containing the gang.
All four men were arrested and charged with conspiracy to rob the Co-Op and possession of an imitation firearm.
Sufi, of Belgrave Road, was sentenced to three years six months, while his accomplices were also jailed.
Mursal Yahye, 23, of Maple Road in Hayes, got three years, Khalid Farah, 21, was sentenced to two years six months, and Abdi Rizak Mohammed Abdullah, 21, was ordered to serve five years.
Detective Chief Inspector Harry Hennigan said: "The fast thinking and keen eye of officers ensured that these men have been brought to justice."
