Members of Charis Christian Centre have put together a short film for a youth convention the church held at Dynamic Passion.
Members of Charis Christian Centre in Leyton, 78 Capworth Street, E10 7HA have put in their own time to put together a short film, My Brothers Keeper which is a modern take on the religious story of Cain and Abel. Cain and Abel are the first and second sons of Adam and Eve, this biblical story shows Cain as the first murderer and kills his brother which commentators have assumed to be due to jealousy.
This modern take featured around 30 of the youth filming at several different locations around London taking a month to complete and regularly filming all day. All the hard work and time put in makes the movie appear to be a very promising one when released, while not much has been revealed about this film it is expected to be on sale soon to raise money for the church which hopes to bring together more members of the community to work on future projects
Funded by the church this 70 minute film stars two young men one of which T'rone Kittoe who has described the film as "something to get closer to god and connect members within the church in a project we all enjoy."
Members of Charis Christinan Centre meet every Sunday at 1pm and welcome anyone to go and join them, they work on numerous projects and have their own youtube channel DynamicPassionE10 where a promotion trailer for the movie is. A member of the church has said "It took a lot of hard work but it all paid off". Being friendly, enthusaistic and very passionate this group are linked through religion encouraging each other to move forward showing through determination and hard work anything is possible.
