A 200-YEAR-OLD pub has reopened after a refurbishment.
The George in High Road, South Woodford, welcomed back customers last Thursday after being shut for two weeks.
A new menu and a greater variety of drinks have been introduced to go with the new decor.
Manager Stephen O’Hallaron said: "Our opening night was a great success and we had fantastic feedback on the new look.
"Our customers were really positive so we are looking forward to a busy weekend where we hope we’ll get lots of new and existing customers popping in to see the changes we’ve made."
