TOY and transport enthusiasts were on track for an enjoyable afternoon as a popular model railway exhibition chugged into town.
Tiny trains and trams drew crowds to Theydon Bois village hall for Epping Railway Circle's biennial exhibition on Saturday.
Among the ten working railway sets on display was a vintage 'O' gauge dating from the 1930s.
Group secretary John Woods, 69, of Woodland Road, Loughton, said: "It went very well - it was great fun.
"A lot of people enjoyed it, everything seemed to work and there were some lovely samples of workmanship.
"A lot of us nowadays, we work in an office and it's nice to be able to make something."
