FIVE men appeared at the Old Bailey this morning charged with the death of a 29-year-old man in Ilford.
Thomas Cudjoe was found in the early hours of Saturday morning on the forecourt of the Shell petrol station in Ley Street, Ilford.
Jerome Green, 23, of Ashgrove Road in Goodmayes and Asher Johnson, 24, of Bellamy Close, Poplar have been charged with murder.
Lewis Johnson, 21, also of Bellamy Close in Popular, and Reece Garwood, 20, of Overton Drive in Romford were charged with conspiracy to murder.
All four were charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
Courtney Mitchell, 22, of Clandon Road, in Seven Kings was charged with murder.
The five men will next appear at the Old Bailey on February 15 to enter their pleas.
