THE FORMER magistrates' court in Epping has been put on the market.
The court was one of 142 closed last year as part of a Government drive to make the justice system more efficient.
Now the building, located in Star Lane behind the town's police station, has been put up for sale by HM Courts and Tribunals Service.
Offers in excess of £500,000 are invited for the three-storey red brick court house, for which estate agents Jones Lang LaSalle suggest 'a range of alternative uses would be appropriate, including office and residential.'
