GREEN-fingered gardening enthusiasts are invited to help keep a new park garden in trim condition.
Anyone who wants to help maintain the new William Morris Garden in Lloyd Park, off Forest Road, Walthamstow, can don a pair of gloves alongside the head gardener every first Thursday of the month.
Tools and gloves are provided, and people can meet at the garden, named after E17's most famous artist and designer, near the Forest Road entrance to volunteer from 10am to 1pm.
The garden is a new addition to the park after it reopened in September following a £5 million facelift.
It also boasts a new cafe, community room, toilets and art gallery in the Aveling Centre.
