CHILDREN raised money for charity with a cake sale at their school.
The pupils from Avon House School in Woodford Green collected £380 for the BBC’s Children In Need appeal by selling their homemade cakes after school.
They wore special Pudsey Bear masks during the sale and sold 250 cakes.
Headteacher Amanda Campbell said: “I was very proud of the way Year 5 organised this event and pleased to see we raised such a lot of money for a worthwhile cause.”
