Walthamstow academy’s 6th form students celebrated excellent A levels and level 3 BTEC results. With all students proud of what they had achieved
6 of their students are going on to study at Russell group universities.
Every student who wanted to go has a place at university, 90% of them at their first choice
63% of students leaving Walthamstow academy have achieved at least one A,A*,Distinction*,or Distinction
18% of the students were at A*, or Distinctions*
43% of all student were at A, A*, Distinction, Distinction*
61% of the results were A*-B or Distinction/Distinction *
96% of the results were at A*-E equivalent
79% of all subjects achieve a 100% pass rate, with all subjects achieving a 75% pass rate
Walthamstow academy’s teacher’s dedication in providing the best they can for the student to ensure that they achieve the very best they can. They work through the whole year with dedication and perseverance and the academy should be proud to have teachers with such a passion for imparting knowledge

Mahnoor Butt, with four Bs, has a place at East Anglia to study biomedical science. She said, ‘I am so happy. I feel relieved. I want to thank all teachers for always supporting me and pushing to aim for the best. I have loved coming to Walthamstow Academy and have spent the past 7 years of my life here…..I will never forget my time here’.
Naser Yussuf who is going to York to study politics & economics having gained an A, a B and double distinction* (500 points). He said, ‘Getting an unconditional offer from one of the universities of my choice was a really great feeling. Walthamstow Academy helped me achieve success’.
