Met Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe will hold the talk at Walthamstow Academy school in Billet Road on Wednesday November 21.
A Met spokesman said: "The Commissioner will be talking about his vision for the Metropolitan Police and how it will effect local policing in your area.
"You will also have the opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas about policing in your area and London."
It takes place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Doors open at 6pm and entry is strictly on a first-come-first-served basis.
Refreshments will also be available.
