AN inquest into the death of a man who was killed as he tried to break up a fight has been delayed until next year.
David Joslin, 23, of Kimberley Road in Chingford, was knocked unconscious as he intervened in an argument between people in Old Church Road just before Christmas in 2009.
He died of head injuries eight days later.
His killer remains at large despite repeated police appeals for information.
There have been repeated delays to his inquest at Walthamstow Coroners Court as evidence is gathered into his treatment at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone immediately after his admission.
A court spokesman said the inquest is now likely to take place next year.
