ARTWORK by students of a Chigwell high school is gracing the corridors of power after it went on display in the headquarters of Essex County Council.
GCSE and A-Level students at West Hatch High School submitted examples of their work in response to a council initiative designed to raise the profile of school-aged artists.
The works will hang in County Hall, Chelmsford, until January.
Head of art Gerry Hanley said: “This is an excellent showcase to celebrate the work of our young people and support creative work in the curriculum.
“Employees and visitors to County Hall can enjoy looking at the display as they make their way to the restaurant.”
