SCHOOLCHILDREN showed a bit of entrepreneurial spirit to raise money for Children in Need.
The year six pupils from Wanstead Church School in Church Path cooked up a batch of cakes which they sold for £70 at a cake sale last week.
But instead of settling for that, the canny youngsters used the cash to buy merchandise from the Children in Need website which they then sold for another profit.
The BBC charity will now benefit to the tune of £115.
Teacher, James Wyatt, said: “They worked really hard and showed real entrepreneurial spirit.
“Alan Sugar would have been proud of their efforts!”
