CHILDREN spent a week learning about different cultures to raise funds for charity.
Pupils of Chigwell Primary School enjoyed a week of international-themed activities, culminating with a fancy dress day in aid of Children in Need.
Karen Jacobs, headteacher of the High Road school, said: "The whole school brought in a £1 per pupil to wear international costumes or colours of flags to raise money for the charity.
"We also had a world food festival for pupils and their parents. Families were encouraged to donate money to Children in Need whilst they sampled food from different cultures, donated by our parents."
