ELVIS Presley songs have proved the most in-demand at a hospital radio that is marking its 10th anniversary.
Forest Gold, which is based at St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping, has been broadcasting music from the 1950s, 60s and 70s round the clock since November 2002.
Presenter Chris Taylor, who marked the anniversary with a countdown of the most requested artists over the decade, which also included The Beatles and Frank Sinatra, said: “Some performers never go out of fashion and it is wonderful that we are still being asked to play songs from such legendary performers.”
As well as being played at the hospital, the station is also available by visiting forestgold.org.uk.
