A CARE home echoed to the sounds of old show tunes and love songs performed by a residents.
The 12-strong choir of people living at Jewish Care's Vi & John Rubens House in Clarence Avenue, Ilford, have been singing together for five years.
And their latest performance was a big hit with staff and fellow residents.
Maralyn Roberts, who works for Jewish Care, said: “People who are otherwise withdrawn are lifted by music and you can see that when the choir sings.
“They are always a big hit with the residents.”
