A MAN in his 60s was robbed as he was getting his dog out of his car.
The man from North Weald was attacked after he parked near the village hall in the High Road.
As he parked near a track leading to a former radio station, he noticed two men walking slowly towards him from the Toot Hill direction.
They approached him when he left the car to get his dog from the boot and one knocked his car keys from his hand, grabbed them from the floor and walked off.
The other man reached into his car, stole the victim’s wallet and walked off.
Both men are described as white, about 5ft 10ins and aged 18 to 25.
One was heavily built, with scruffy mousey brown hair and blue eyes and was wearing a dark long-sleeved hoodie.
The other is described as slimmer than the first man with gelled hair and blue eyes and was wearing black and white camouflage trousers and walking shoes.
Pc Paul Burnett said: "If anyone thinks they recognise these men or have seen them hanging about in the area, please contact me."
The incident happened last Tuesday (November 13), but police have only released details today.
