Churchfields Primary School children at a recent event in Elmhurst Gardens
A GROUP which cares for a well loved green space will receive £664 from the council to buy tables and chairs.
The Friends of Elmhurst Gardens look after and organise events in Elmhurst Gardens in Gordon Road South Woodford.
They requested the cash from the Area Two Committee last night to purchase 12 chairs and 12 folding tables for use at future events.
Councillors agreed that the money would be paid for from Roding ward funds.
